According to Metra, the delays were due to a vehicle on the tracks near Ingleside. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Delay times are unknown but extensive delays are anticipated,&#8221; Metra said in a post on X. &#8220;Passengers may consider Union Pacific North or North Central Service lines as alternates.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MDN inbound and outbound trains will be halted near Ingleside due to a vehicle on the tracks. Delay times are unknown but extensive delays are anticipated.
