Sunny days are ahead after an unusually wet Christmas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As of 6 a.m. on Dec. 26, all flash flood warnings were cancelled\u00a0after various parts\u00a0of Los Angeles experienced multiple inches of rain over the course of three days.\u00a0Just over three inches of rain fell in Downtown Los Angeles, while other parts of the county, like Woodland Hills, experienced up to seven inches.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
As rain continues throughout the day, flood advisories and flood watches\u00a0remain\u00a0in effect across Southern California.\u00a0The forecast predicts showers will taper off, but that heavy rain is still possible,\u00a0including a thunderstorm. However, less than an inch of rain is expected by tonight.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The flood advisory is set to expire at noon today, and\u00a0flood\u00a0watch is in effect until 6 p.m. tonight.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Through Monday,\u00a0Dec. 29,\u00a0mostly clear and sunny conditions are expected with temperature highs\u00a0ranging from 59 to 65 degrees. Santa Ana winds are set to roll through at the start of the week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Beginning\u00a0the\u00a0evening\u00a0of Dec. 30, there\u00a0is a chance rain will return through New Year\u2019s Day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Topanga Canyon Boulevard has been closed between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive\u00a0since Dec. 23 out of safety precaution\u00a0due to\u00a0anticipated\u00a0mud and debris flow.
