Judge Garcia was a part of the group, which is a LGBTQ caucus of the Texas Democratic Party. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My prayers are with her wife, her family, and all who loved and worked alongside her during this difficult time,&#8221; Vargas III wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Tax Commissioner Albert Uresti and District Attorney Joe Gonzalez also commented on the post. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Michelle was a wonderful person. We had a great mutual respect for each other,&#8221; Commissioner Uresti shared. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So saddened to hear about the passing of Judge Garcia, may she rest in peace,&#8221; DA Gonzalez wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Commissioner Tommy Calvert, Precinct 4, also took to Facebook to share his condolences. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have asked that the Precinct 4 Office flag be flown at half staff for 9 days of mourning in honor of her service to the people of Bexar County.
