{"id":475724,"date":"2025-12-27T21:36:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-27T21:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/475724\/"},"modified":"2025-12-27T21:36:18","modified_gmt":"2025-12-27T21:36:18","slug":"suns-mark-williams-questionable-for-back-to-back-allen-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/475724\/","title":{"rendered":"Suns&#8217; Mark Williams questionable for back-to-back, Allen out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Suns center Mark Williams (knee management) is <a href=\"https:\/\/official.nba.com\/nba-injury-report-2025-26-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">questionable<\/a> ahead of Phoenix\u2019s game at the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, as Ryan Dunn (knee) is also questionable and Grayson Allen (knee management) remains out.<\/p>\n<p>If Williams suits up, it would be his first time playing in both games of a back-to-back since Phoenix traded for him on draft night. His only four missed games of the season have come on the second night of a back-to-back.<\/p>\n<p>Both of Friday and Saturday\u2019s games being in New Orleans \u2014 so not having to factor in travel \u2014 could contribute to potentially playing in the matchup.<\/p>\n<p>He has started 23 games, all of his appearances since coming off the bench his first three games when there was a <a href=\"https:\/\/arizonasports.com\/nba\/phoenix-suns\/mark-williams-injury\/3597876\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ramp up<\/a> during training camp.<\/p>\n<p>Williams has averaged 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.4 steals and one block in 24.7 minutes per start.<\/p>\n<p>He had 24 points, 13 rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes during Friday\u2019s win. It was the most points he\u2019s had in a Suns start (25 off the bench on Oct. 27) and the most rebounds since Nov. 28 (14).<\/p>\n<p>Phoenix is 15-8 when he starts as opposed to 1-2 when he came off the bench and 1-3 when he doesn\u2019t play.<\/p>\n<p>Dunn had nine points and eight rebounds on Friday (21 minutes) before landing on the injury report with knee soreness.
