All we want for Christmas<\/a> is to know where the time went.<\/p>\n

Yuletide queen Mariah Carey<\/strong><\/a> spent the holiday with her son Monroe<\/strong> and daughter Moroccan<\/strong>, the twins in jeans and matching sweaters sporting their mom’s face and stitched with “All I Want for Christmas Is You<\/a>” (we’ll take two of those for our own), while she donned a glittering red-sequined dress.<\/p>\n

As one does if your signature song reached 2 billion streams on Spotify this December.<\/p>\n

However, what was most notable in the family photo Mariah posted<\/a> on Instagram Dec. 26 in which the three of them posed in front of their immaculately decorated tree: Her now-14-year-old twins that she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon <\/strong>are now taller than she is in heels.<\/p>\n

And Mariah measures in at a not-tiny 5-foot-9.<\/p>\n

How time flies when you’ve become synonymous with Christmas. The most recent glimpse of the twins, courtesy of their parents, came in a snap their father shared from a visit<\/a> earlier in December, in which Monroe and Moroccan also towered over Nick (but only because the 6-foot Masked Singer host was squatting) and three of their younger half-siblings.<\/p>\n

While her pic with her kids was the one family photo she shared from this holiday, Mariah has detailed her favorite annual traditions, starting with a sleigh ride the night before Christmas, which she likes to spend in Aspen, Colo.<\/p>\n

“When we’re in Aspen, it’s a whole other experience [than home in L.A.], because you’re dealing with the snow,” she told Extra<\/a> in 2021. “That’s part of the decor for me. I look out the window and I’m like, ‘This is amazing!'”<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old loves a dip in a “boiling” hot tub when it’s freezing outside\u2014”I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s kind of incredible”\u2014and overall loves “winter wonderland” activities.<\/p>\n

She also cooks on Christmas Eve, utilizing her late father’s recipes, and on Christmas Day they have a “traditional dinner,” Mariah said. “I’m not gonna lie, people help, but I’ll get in there and do the mashed potatoes…I love it.”<\/p>\n

And, Mariah added, if as a little girl she’d known that one day people would be calling her the “Queen of Christmas,” that would have been “pretty amazing.”<\/p>\n

“But I think it’s disrespectful to be, like, ‘That’s what I am, that’s who I am,'” she noted. “I just love the holidays more than any time. Even though like a lot of times we dress the place up to make music and to do this and that, it’s not the same as the actual holidays. Even when I spent Christmas in a place that’s not snowy, I am a traditional lover of the holidays.”<\/p>\n
