David Moyes spoke about the absent Jack Grealish and his side’s performance following the 0-0 Premier League draw at Burnley<\/p>\n

David Moyes is hopeful Jack Grealish will be fit to return for Everton<\/a> when they face Nottingham Forest next week. The 30-year-old missed the 0-0 draw at Burnley with a virus.<\/p>\n

Grealish<\/a> had trained with the Blues squad on Tuesday but was unable to feature at Turf Moor<\/a>. Asked how long he would be out for, Moyes<\/a> said: \u201cThis week, with a bit of luck.\u201d<\/p>\n

Should Grealish be fit for the trip to the City Ground this coming Tuesday it would represent a major boost for Everton<\/a> ahead of a tough game in the east Midlands.<\/p>\n

The Blues boss is currently without attacking midfielders Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall<\/a> and Iliman Ndiaye<\/a> and the loss of Grealish – the third part of a dynamic forward line – left his side devoid of quality at Burnley.<\/p>\n

Moyes later admitted: \u201cI wouldn\u2019t have wanted to come and watch that myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

While forwards Beto<\/a> and Thierno Barry<\/a> both forced Martin Dubravka into good saves, and Everton could have had a second-half penalty when Tyler Dibling<\/a>\u2019s strike hit the arm of Jaiden Anthony, they were poor throughout and escaped with a point after Jacob Bruun Larsen and Zian Flemming missed one-on-ones.<\/p>\n

After the game, Moyes said: \u201cMissing Ili and missing Kiernan, we know we’re losing creativity, and without Jack as well, that doesn’t help, so it was always going to be a bit of a challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I really hoped we would play much better than we did.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was probably as poor as we’ve played in some games. Our football wasn’t good enough and lots of bits just weren’t at the level I hoped they would be.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut look, you get a clean sheet, you take a point away, Burnley’s never been that easy to come to and get a result.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’ll go away with the point and maybe it’ll prove important later on in the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
