\n\tAfter 30 years, Eddie Murphy<\/a> has moved on from his beef with Saturday Night Live<\/a> and David Spade<\/a> over the flop of 1995\u2019s Vampire in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpade recently clarified that he and Murphy are \u201call good\u201d after reuniting at last year\u2019s SNL50: The 50th Anniversary Special<\/a>, noting that he previously made the Oscar nominee \u201chate me overnight\u201d after a joke at his movie\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was weird going from being a super fan to having him hate me overnight, and to try to win him back for the last 25 years,\u201d he explained on his and Dana Carvey\u2019s Fly on the Wall<\/a> podcast. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe had some bumps in the road along the way, early on. I was on \u2018Weekend Update\u2019, on SNL, new to the show, making fun of all the celebrities and I made fun of him and it didn\u2019t go well. And he called me and we had it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpade added, \u201cActually, he had it out. I didn\u2019t really fight back. Because I did feel a little guilty about it. And he did make some sense, I just didn\u2019t like that because he was a hero.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring his \u2018Spade in America\u2019 segment on the Dec. 9, 1995 episode of SNL, Spade went after several celebs of the time, including Murphy and Vampire in Brooklyn. \u201cLook, children, it\u2019s a falling star. Make a wish. Yes, that\u2019s right. You make a Hollywood Minute omelet, you break some eggs,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tNoting he\u2019s seen Murphy \u201conce or twice\u201d since the joke, having been on good terms at the NBC sketch comedy show\u2019s 25th anniversary special in February. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Murphy called the joke \u201ca cheap shot<\/a>\u201d and \u201cracist,\u201d adding that \u201cit was personal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIn the long run, it\u2019s all good. Worked out great,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m cool with David Spade. Cool with Lorne Michaels. I went back to SNL. I\u2019m cool with everybody. It\u2019s all love.\u201d<\/p>\n
