Kristy Swanson is absolutely slaying in a new Instagram posts showcasing her love for America! The popular \u201890s actress posted a couple of photos over the holiday weekend bedecked in Americana for the Fourth of July, and we are loving the look.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old actress captioned a selfie on Instagram, \u201cHappy 4th of July America,\u201d along with a flag emoji as well as three hearts in red, white, and blue.<\/p>\n

Fans raced to the comments to compliment her flawless good looks and patriotism with remarks like, \u201cLooking good, sister!\u201d \u201cGod Bless America,\u201d and \u201cYou look beautiful!! Happy 4th!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

At least one fan paid homage to one of her most well-known roles with, \u201cHappy 4th, Buffy.\u201d Swanson of course played the title role in the iconic \u201890s film Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/a>, when she just wanted to \u201cgraduate from high school, go to Europe, marry Christian Slater, and die.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swanson shared another photo with a full-length view of her whole American flag-inspired outfit complete with cowboy boots and captioned it, \u201cAmerican Heart,\u201d along with more red, white, and blue hearts.<\/p>\n

She also added the song “American Heart” by artist Jon David Kahn and tagged him. The lyrics include:<\/p>\n

I’m American made
I got American parts
Got American faith
In America’s heart<\/p>\n

Our hearts are pretty captured by this \u201cageless beauty,\u201d as one fan commented. We love a woman who isn\u2019t afraid to wear her patriotic heart on her sleeve.<\/p>\n
