Just over one year after\u00a0The Strangers: Chapter 1\u00a0kickstarted a new trilogy of terror tales, Lionsgate is getting set to unleash\u00a0The Strangers: Chapter 2\u00a0in theaters on\u00a0September 26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the official synopsis: \u201cThe Strangers are back \u2013 more brutal and relentless than ever. When they learn that one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), is still alive, they return to finish what they\u2019ve started. Renny Harlin<\/strong>\u00a0(A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Deep Blue Sea) directed both\u00a0Chapter 1\u00a0and\u00a0Chapter 2, as well as the upcoming\u00a0The Strangers: Chapter 3.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Basso<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ema Horvath<\/strong>\u00a0also star in\u00a0The Strangers: Chapter 2.\u00a0Alan R. Cohen<\/strong>\u00a0&\u00a0Alan Freedland<\/strong>\u00a0wrote the sequel\u2019s screenplay, with producers including Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek.<\/p>\n
