{"id":477237,"date":"2025-12-29T09:00:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T09:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/477237\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T09:00:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T09:00:12","slug":"all-the-countries-israel-attacked-in-2025-animated-map-conflict-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/477237\/","title":{"rendered":"All the countries Israel attacked in 2025: Animated map | Conflict News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Israel has attacked more countries than any other country this year.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Israel attacked at least six countries, including Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, and Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>It also carried out strikes in Tunisian, Maltese and Greek territorial waters on aid flotillas heading for Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>According to Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED), an independent conflict monitor, from January 1 to December 5, Israel carried out at least 10,631 attacks, marking one of the broadest geographic military offensives in a single year.<\/p>\n<p>How are attacks measured?<\/p>\n<p>ACLED collects and records reported information on political violence, demonstrations, and other select non-violent, politically important events from local, national and international news sources and international bodies.<\/p>\n<p>For mapping Israeli attacks over this past year, we filtered for violent events including air and drone strikes, shelling and missile attacks, remote explosives, and other armed attacks.<\/p>\n<p>These events involve violent attacks by Israeli forces; however, they exclude the significant rise in attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. Additionally, they do not cover other Israeli assaults, such as home demolitions or <a href=\"https:\/\/interactive.aljazeera.com\/aje\/2023\/israel-home-invasions-palestine-in-the-dead-of-night\/?utm_source=www.aljazeera.com&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_campaign=ucms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nightly<\/a> raids that occur daily.<\/p>\n<p>Where has Israel attacked the most?<\/p>\n<p>Gaza has remained the deadliest area, with Israel killing more than 25,000 people this year and injuring at least 62,000.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/11\/11\/how-many-times-has-israel-violated-the-gaza-ceasefire-here-are-the-numbers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Israel has violated a ceasefire in Gaza<\/a>, which took effect at noon on October 10, hundreds of times, killing\u00a0at least 400 Palestinians and injuring 1,100.<\/p>\n<p>Israel also repeatedly violated the first ceasefire earlier in 2025, eventually ending it.<\/p>\n<p>According to ACLED, in 2025, up to December 5, 2025, Israel attacked:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gaza and the occupied West Bank<\/strong> 8,332 times<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lebanon<\/strong> 1,653 times<\/li>\n<li><strong>Iran<\/strong> 379 times<\/li>\n<li><strong>Syria<\/strong> 207 times<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yemen<\/strong> 48 times<\/li>\n<li><strong>Qatar<\/strong> once<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tunisian waters<\/strong> twice, <strong>Maltese and Greek waters<\/strong> once each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These statistics are based on verified reports and likely undercount the actual number of attacks due to reporting gaps in conflict zones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Israel has attacked more countries than any other country this year.
