\n\tJust in case filmmakers are listening, Miley Cyrus<\/a> may be down to write original music<\/a> for your movie.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy winner recently revealed to People <\/a>how she pitched her songwriting talents to director James Cameron, which later landed her song \u201cDream As One\u201d<\/a> in the credits of Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/a>, currently playing in theaters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI kind of throw it out there as I always do,\u201d she said of meeting Cameron at the 2024 D23 Expo. \u201cI already knew the answer to, \u2018So what have you been up to?\u2019 I know he\u2019s been up to\u00a0Avatar\u00a0for a very long time.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSo that\u2019s when Cyrus mentioned, \u201c\u2018Just lemme know if you ever need any music.’\u201d And their conversation happened to be at the perfect time in the development of the third Avatar installment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt just kind of organically happened,\u201d she said. \u201cJames actually calls us \u2018Legends in law.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThis wasn\u2019t the first time The Last Song star used this technique to collaborate with filmmakers in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI did the same thing to [Last Showgirl\u00a0star]\u00a0Jamie Lee Curtis,\u201d Cyrus shared of how her Golden Globe-nominated song \u201cBeautiful That Way\u201d landed in Gia Coppola\u2019s The Last Showgirl\u00a0last year. \u201cThat\u2019s how I ended up doing\u00a0Last Showgirl\u00a0and now being a part of\u00a0Avatar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cFlowers\u201d singer added, \u201cThat\u2019s why I went to the\u00a0Oscars\u00a0this year. Everybody that came up and introduced themselves, I said, \u2018Well, if you need any music, I\u2019m around.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd Cyrus isn\u2019t just interested in participating in films, but also in television, as she also pitched herself to the creators of Baby Reindeer. \u201cI don\u2019t know what I would write for\u00a0Baby Reindeer\u00a0season two, but I threw that out there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus said her interest in writing songs for film and TV, like \u201cDream As One,\u201d is her way of taking part in \u201cwhat really kind of bites in a film.\u201d<\/p>\n
