PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 It\u2019s a cool start to your morning in the Valley for your Monday with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. <\/p>\n

Plan on a beautiful day with highs in the mid 70s in Phoenix under partly cloudy skies with breezy to windy conditions. We could see 20-30 mph winds today in the Valley. <\/p>\n

There are changes on the way this week just in time for the new year. We have a First Alert Weather Day<\/a> for Thursday, New Year\u2019s Day, with around a 50-70% chance to see rain in the Phoenix area. <\/p>\n

We could see some rain the night before, but it looks like the bulk will fall Thursday and even continue into Friday. <\/p>\n

Temperatures will remain above normal this week in the mid 70s and upper 60s. Our average high for this time of year is 65 degrees. <\/p>\n

We will hold onto only slight rain chances for the first weekend of 2026. Highs will be quite nice, only running five or so degrees above normal. <\/p>\n
