Driver, 62, charged with speeding and stunt driving after being stopped in south Barrie neighbourhood Sunday<\/p>\n
A Barrie police officer conducting traffic enforcement\u00a0in the city’s south end Sunday captured a vehicle travelling 103 kilometres per hour in a 60-km\/h zone.<\/p>\n
At around 11 a.m. on Dec. 28, police say the officer was using a speed radar\u00a0in the area of Essa\u00a0and Salem roads.<\/p>\n
The 62-year-old driver was charged with speeding and stunt driving, police say. In addition to the charges, their licence was suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0accused is scheduled to\u00a0appear in court\u00a0in March.<\/p>\n
