When we got here, her daughter was on the ground dead,&#8221; the victim&#8217;s great-great aunt said.<\/p>\n<p>FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Fort Worth police are investigating two shooting scenes they say are connected, with one teenager confirmed dead Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The confirmed fatal shooting happened just before 2:30 p.m. at Stop Six Park off Rosedale Street. Police sources and the family of 17-year-old Cyanna Boone say she was shot at the park and pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s in the 12th grade,\u201d said Dianna Wilson, Boone\u2019s great-great aunt. \u201cHer mother called me and said her daughter had been shot. When we got here, her daughter was on the ground dead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wilson said the family is already coping with another recent loss.<\/p>\n<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__placeholder\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/c4bd516e-c875-4236-b51b-af6f8e13571b_16x9.jpg\"\/><br \/>\n                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__main\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/c4bd516e-c875-4236-b51b-af6f8e13571b_1140x641.jpg\"  alt=\"\" style=\"opacity:0\" onload=\"this.style.opacity=1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just lost my daughter on the 2nd and buried her on the 13th of November,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now my baby CDB \u2014 she\u2019s gone now. This is a lot. This is a lot on the family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Around the same time of the shooting at Stop Six, police activity shifted to a second scene near Handley Drive and Gary Street, where officers and SWAT focused on a home for several hours. Fort Worth police sources told WFAA the two scenes are connected, though the department has not explained how.<\/p>\n<p>A nearby resident, Lashella Mitchell, said she heard multiple gunshots before police arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just a lot of commotion,\u201d Mitchell said. \u201cA lot of gunshots \u2014 about 20.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Footage from the air showed an abandoned vehicle outside the home and clothing scattered in the street. SWAT officers were later seen entering the residence using a drone. It\u2019s the holidays. Just another person gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Back at Stop Six Park, investigators placed yellow evidence markers across the ground.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, Fort Worth police have not confirmed any injuries or deaths at the second location and have not announced any arrests or suspects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cHer mother called me and said her daughter had been shot.
