On December 13, more than 30,000 people packed the streets along Glendale Avenue for the 12th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade, and Team Rafi was an integral part of the festivities.<\/p>\n

Around 30 volunteers \u2014 employees, friends and family \u2014 walked the parade route passing out thousands of Rafi-branded goodies, including Frisbees, T-shirts, tote bags, keychains and fidget spinners. Among the most coveted items were custom \u201cCall Rafi\u201d hats, produced by local apparel company State Forty Eight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Team Rafi contingent paraded behind a truck towing a holiday-themed replica of everyone\u2019s favorite billboard. Sounds of the catchy \u201cCall Rafi Rafi<\/a>\u201d jingle floated through the air, and families sang along to the familiar tune.<\/p>\n

This was Rafi Law Group\u2019s third appearance in the Glendale Hometown Christmas Parade, which over the past decade has established itself as one of the area\u2019s most beloved holiday traditions. All proceeds from the parade benefit Hope for Hunger, a Glendale-based food bank that brings help and hope to local families in need. Hope for Hunger Food Bank provides emergency food and more for roughly 130 families in Glendale and parts of Phoenix and Peoria, and parade spectators are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items for the food drive.<\/p>\n

The festive parade features a lively marching band competition, dazzling floats, and awards for the Best Christmas Spirit. The procession was kicked off by the color guard from Luke Air Force Base, which marched in front of an enormous American flag. The Grand Marshal for this year\u2019s parade was Mel Martin, founder of the Martin Auto Museum.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my favorite thing that I do,\u201d says City of Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers. \u201cA lot of people got involved with me years ago, and we have a tradition in Glendale. A lot of people come out here, and the byproduct of coming out here is starting traditions with your family, with your grandkids, and just having a good time. All of the money that we raise over the cost [of the parade] goes to the local food bank. So we have the chance to have a lot of fun, celebrate Christmas with our families, and just have a blast!\u201d<\/p>\n

The parade was a genuine moment of connection that showed how deeply Rafi Law Group is woven into the fabric of the community, and the firm is proud to be a part of the neighborhood celebration.<\/p>\n
