Kyle Mazza\/UNF News\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>The tot\u2019s 28-year-old mom, Nicole Boodhai, was located with slash wounds to her wrists, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both mother and son were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where the little boy, identified as Charlie Ramraykha, was pronounced dead, and his mom was listed in stable condition, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear how little Charlie was killed, but cops charged his mother with murder and endangering the welfare of a child.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A nearby bodega worker told The Post that the toddler\u2019s parents would occasionally come into the store to buy milk and water, and that he believed the couple had been living separately.<\/p>\n<p>Cops confirmed that Boodhai and her son had different addresses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38047748\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_editorial_15_month_old_boy_dead_and_a_wo_16216480c.jpg\" alt=\"Queens baby dead\" class=\"wp-image-38047748\"  \/>The mom and baby were taken from the house to the hospital, where the child was pronounced dead. Kyle Mazza\/UNF News\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>The worker recalled seeing a crying woman run out of the house and wave to him, and the bandaged mother being taken outside as authorities arrived at the home on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lady ran out of the house, and the man pulled up in the car and came to the house. I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s the father, but he came at the same time the police came,\u201d the man, who wished not to be identified, described.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think she got cut because she had [bandages] on her arms when she come out of house,\u201d he said. \u201cShe was taken out, her eyes were closed. Everybody was thinking she was dead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s sad what happened.
