That\u2019s about a week quicker than at the same time last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">And it puts the Philadelphia area in the <a class=\"relative z-1 text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\" data-link-type=\"article-body\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/research\/november-2025-luxury\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/research\/november-2025-luxury\">top 10 fastest-moving luxury markets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">The Philadelphia region has both a <a class=\"relative z-1 text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\" data-link-type=\"article-body\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/real-estate\/housing\/luxury-home-philadelphia-rittenhouse-square-museum-district-20210713.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/real-estate\/housing\/luxury-home-philadelphia-rittenhouse-square-museum-district-20210713.html\">strong demand for luxury homes<\/a> and a <a class=\"relative z-1 text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\" data-link-type=\"article-body\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/real-estate\/housing\/luxury-home-sales-2025-delaware-county-philadelphia-20251118.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/real-estate\/housing\/luxury-home-sales-2025-delaware-county-philadelphia-20251118.html\">housing supply that hasn\u2019t kept up<\/a>, which means homes that are on the market sell relatively quickly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p type-interstitial text-primary\"><b>\u00bb READ MORE: <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-link-type=\"interstitial\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/real-estate\/housing\/million-dollar-home-value-increasing-20250924.html\" class=\"no-underline text-blue-mid hover:shadow-lightmode\">The number of Philly-area homes worth at least $1 million has almost quadrupled over the last five years<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">Realtor.com labeled homes as luxury if their listing price was in the most expensive 10% of listings for their market. The company analyzed markets that had an average of at least 500 million-dollar listings over the 12 months through November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">The country\u2019s fastest-moving luxury markets span regions and price points. The fastest was the San Jose, Calif., metro area, where luxury homes sold in November in a median of 56 days. And of the 10 fastest-selling markets, the Philadelphia metro area had the second-lowest threshold for luxury homes: $898,989.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">Nationally, the luxury threshold in November was about $1.2 million. And homes listed at this price and above stayed on the market for a median of 78 days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">The slowest-moving metropolitan area in November was Bend, Ore., where luxury homes sold in a median of 146 days. Its luxury market started at $1.85 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">The Heber, Utah, metropolitan area had the second-slowest market last month. Luxury homes there sold in a median of 136 days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inq-p text-primary  \">But this area outside Salt Lake City also had the most expensive luxury market in November.
