The discovery was made along Windmill Lakes Boulevard, southeast of Almeda Genoa and Blackhawk.<\/p>\n

HOUSTON \u2014 Houston police are investigating after possible skeletal remains were discovered Monday afternoon in the Windmill Lakes area of southeast Houston.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to a call at 1:15 p.m. of possible human remains found off Windmill Lakes Boulevard, southeast of Almeda Genoa and Blackhawk, according to a Houston Police Department official. The caller told dispatchers they found what appeared to be decomposed body or skeletal remains.<\/p>\n

Police did not say if they did find remains at the site.<\/p>\n

Air 11 showed detectives walking in a vacant field and stopping to inspect an area near some trees.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
