George Clooney recently dropped more hints about Ocean\u2019s 14, a sequel to the hit heist trilogy he starred in beginning in 2001<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
The returning characters, teased Clooney, will be \u201ctoo old to do what we used to do,\u201d but \u201cstill smart enough to know how to get away with something\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
The Jay Kelly star will reportedly be joined by original Ocean\u2019s Eleven cast members Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
George Clooney<\/a> is putting the old Ocean’s Eleven crew back together. But it sure has been a while.<\/p>\n Ocean’s 14, a fourth film in the heist franchise that began in 2001, is reportedly a go with stars Clooney, Julia Roberts<\/a>, Brad Pitt<\/a>, Matt Damon<\/a>, Don Cheadle<\/a> and more returning. (Zach Braff remade that film in 2017 with Martin Freeman, Alan Arkin and Michael Caine. Ocean’s Eleven was also a remake, as Steven Soderbergh<\/a> re-envisioned the original 1960 Ocean\u2019s 11 starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Angie Dickinson.)<\/p>\n \u201cWe just got the budget approved at Warner Bros. and we\u2019re trying to set up,\u201d Clooney told E! News<\/a> in October, confirming<\/a> members of the original film\u2019s cast are on board. \u201cIt\u2019s just scheduling, so it\u2019s just setting a start date for us.\u201d Per Variety, the team behind Ocean\u2019s 14 hopes to start shooting the film next October.<\/p>\n Following the original trilogy, the 2018 spin-off Ocean\u2019s 8<\/a> starred Sandra Bullock<\/a> as Danny\u2019s sister Debbie, plus Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway.
