Fox News<\/p>\n<p>Apparently the owners of the site \u2014 which has gotten up to $4 million in taxpayer funds and racked up dozens of inspection violations \u2014 didn\u2019t get the memo.<\/p>\n<p>At least 20 kids were seen entering the Quality \u201cLearing\u201d Center Monday afternoon after being bused in. One employee shouted down The Post\u2019s attempt to ask questions: \u201cDon\u2019t f\u2013king come to this area. Get the f\u2013k out of here,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The day care says it is open Monday through Thursday from 2 to 10 p.m., and the owner\u2019s son Ibrahim Ali showed up Monday to claim all the allegations were a big misunderstanding.<\/p>\n<p>Adults and children entering the Quality Learning Center on Dec. 29, 2025. LP Media for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you go to a coffee shop at 11 p.m. and say, \u2018Hey, they\u2019re not working\u2019?\u201d Ali argued to The Post.<\/p>\n<p>But a local resident said the activity at Quality Learning Center was highly unusual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve never seen kids go in there until today. LP Media for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>The unfortunate typo on the center\u2019s exterior signage, which the owner blamed on a graphic design snafu, became an instant meme, was finally fixed Tuesday morning to include the proper spelling.<\/p>\n<p>After Brown\u2019s comments, the Minnesota child services department later sent around a correction noting Quality Learing Center had initially notified state regulators it was closing but ultimately decided to stay open.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the latest on the Minnesota fraud scheme:<\/p>\n<p>It wouldn\u2019t be the first time that a day care connected to the Somali community conjured up kids for the cameras.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/30\/us-news\/footage-from-minnesota-day-care-center-shows-parents-pretending-to-drop-kids-off\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">shocking video unearthed in a 2018 state fraud case<\/a>\u00a0showed Somali parents in Minnesota dropping children off at a day care, checking them in and then leaving with them moments later.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said the ruse was so that providers could bill the state for full days of care for children who didn\u2019t actually attend.<\/p>\n<p>The parking lot of the learning center was full on Dec. 29 amid the fraud allegations. LP Media<\/p>\n<p>Brown did not respond to a message from The Post seeking comment Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota Rep. Elliot Engen, who is running for state auditor, told The Post the fraud already uncovered \u2014 and the billions more being investigated \u2014 could only be the tip of the iceberg, claiming the $9 billion figure cited by Assistant US Attorney Joe Thompson only accounts for the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can assume this has been going on for decades. Minnesotans should be furious about this. Americans should be furious about this because not only have their politicians failed them, they went a step farther. This wasn\u2019t an accident.
