Darnold, 28, proposed to longtime girlfriend Katie Hoofnagle and the couple is engaged to be married, the pair announced in a post on Instagram.<\/p>\n
Hoofnagle captioned the post, \u201cYES!!!!!\u201d along with a carousel of photos of the pair, which included the moment the Seahawks QB dropped to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Other photos featured Hoofnagle showing off the ring on the beach and another showed the two embracing in a hug.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hoofnagle further showed off the celebration of their engagement in a series of Instagram Story posts, which included a party with their friends and family on the day of the engagement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A sign at the celebration indicated that the two got engaged on Saturday, two days before they announced their engagement on social media on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
