\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Jersey Village City Council will hold a town hall Jan. 6 to receive public input on design plans for a new city pool in Clark Henry Park.<\/p>\n

The gist<\/strong><\/p>\n

The city moved forward with design consultations for the new pool in November after voters narrowly approved<\/a> a $6.5 million bond to fund the construction. The scope of the project includes the pool itself and a pump house but no other amenities, according to previous Council discussion.<\/p>\n

Community members will be able to view preliminary designs and share feedback on specific features during the town hall, per a public notice for the meeting. Residents can also meet the design team and ask questions about the project process.<\/p>\n

Looking back<\/strong><\/p>\n

The City Council in February approved the demolition of the former Clark Henry Pool, which had exceeded its lifespan, after it was determined that repairing and maintaining the 50-year-old pool would cost the same as building a new one, Community Impact previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jersey Village voters previously rejected a $10.1 million bond in November 2024 that would have been used to renovate the old pool, according to previous reporting from Community Impact<\/a>. The recent $6.5 million bond passed by only five votes, 2025 election results show.<\/p>\n

The Jan. 6 town hall is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. in the Civic Center Auditorium located at 16327 Lakeview Drive, Jersey Village.<\/p>\n
