From that, we can see what\u2019s hot and what\u2019s not. And how much money we\u2019re collectively spending on booze, yet <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasobserver.com\/news\/north-texas-school-closures-40630759\/\">closing schools<\/a>. Noooo \u2026 just joking (not really). One has nothing to do with the other. (But doesn\u2019t it?) <\/p>\n<p>For the end of the year, we asked <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/app.alcoholsales.com\/search\/business?month=recent&amp;city=DALLAS&amp;pageSize=100\">TABS<\/a> to pull a report looking at the past 12 months of sales: November 2024 through October 2025, the latest month available at the time. <\/p>\n<p>We pull out hotels and music venues, although that gets sticky because some bars have live music, so it\u2019s hard to draw a line. Either way, below is a look at restaurants and bars that <strong>pulled in more than $500,000 on average per month<\/strong> (in just alcohol, food isn\u2019t included), then the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"#h-the-rest-of-the-best\">remaining 30 or so<\/a>, followed by <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"#h-trending-for-2026\">what\u2019s on trend<\/a> for next year\u2019s top-selling spots.    <\/p>\n<p>The $500K Club<\/p>\n<p>Seven bars and restaurants in Dallas cleared on average more than $500,000 per month over the past 12 months. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Restaurant\/Bar: total liquor sales past 12 months (Nov. \u201924-Oct. \u201925), six-month average <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Baby Dolls: $9,731,571; $810,964<\/li>\n<li>Katy Trail Ice House: $9,651,772; $804,314<\/li>\n<li>Cowboys Red River: $6,996,102; $583,009<\/li>\n<li>Javier\u2019s: $6,395,261; $532,938<\/li>\n<li>Nick and Sam\u2019s: $6,385,540; $532,128<\/li>\n<li>Al Biernat\u2019s \u2013 Oak Lawn: $6,134,201; $511,183<\/li>\n<li>Round Up Saloon: $6,008,522; $500,710 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDallas, make your New Year\u2019s Resolution Count!\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"fundraising-thermometer-body\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWe\u2019re $10,000 away from reaching our $30,000 year-end fundraising goal. But hold tight, because next we\u2019re going to look at October 2025 to see which spots will likely be a top-selling bar in the next year.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, despite<strong style=\"color: initial\">\u00a0<\/strong>closing in early August, <strong>Rodeo Dallas<\/strong> remains in the top 10 of bars in Dallas. Although \u2013 oddly \u2013 it reported half a million in sales in October, a time in which it was very absolutely closed during the entire month. We asked TABS about it and they confirmed the data. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/news\/local\/dallas-county\/judge-dissolves-order-shutting-down-rodeo-dallas-deep-ellum\/287-4adf3768-2e97-4f5c-a1db-bd7ae3cea70e\">Bail money maybe? <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also, newcomer <strong>CATCH<\/strong> has caught on, hitting almost $500,000 a month in liquor sales (remember: these numbers do not include any food items). Absent from the list of top-sellers? <strong>Nuri<\/strong>. This Uptown steakhouse spent $20 million on design and we\u2019d expect it to be up there with CATCH. The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasobserver.com\/food-drink\/most-anticipated-dallas-restaurant-openings-of-2026-40630773\/\">restaurant real-estate market in Dallas is one fire, <\/a>with many big-name spots (CATCH, Avra, Carbone) from other top 10 cities like New York City expanding locally.
