{"id":483610,"date":"2026-01-01T01:04:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-01T01:04:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/483610\/"},"modified":"2026-01-01T01:04:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-01T01:04:10","slug":"crews-cleared-multi-vehicle-crash-blocking-lions-gate-bridge-southbound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/483610\/","title":{"rendered":"Crews cleared multi-vehicle crash blocking Lions Gate Bridge southbound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The multi-vehicle crash on the Lions Gate Bridge has been cleared now.<\/p>\n<p>According ot DriveBC, the Lions Gate Bridge has fully reopened, and all three lanes are open for traffic again.<\/p>\n<p>The West Vancouver Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was responding to the scene of a crash on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Callers to 1130 NewsRadio first reported the incident near the north end of the bridge around 12:45 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Callers say that one truck and three cars were involved.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"567\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/G9h0k8IWwAAy01O-1024x567.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4371682\"  \/>A vehicle incident on the Lions Gate Bridge on Dec. 31, 2025. (Courtesy DriveBC)<\/p>\n<p>Images from the scene show that southbound lanes were blocked, and northbound drivers, limited to one lane, were backed up towards Stanley Park.<\/p>\n<p>DriveBC advises drivers to expect delays due to congestion and recommends considering the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge as an alternative.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
