Police arrested the man after responding to reports that a woman had been filmed while using the facilities.<\/p>\n
The incident, which occurred around 3pm on Wednesday afternoon, was reported by a woman who noticed a paper bag with a cutout placed in front of her cubicle containing what appeared to be a phone camera.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I was using the toilet, I noticed someone put a paper bag down in front of my cubicle and I noticed a phone camera filming me,\u201d she wrote to Pulse.<\/p>\n

The woman reportedly began recording the situation herself for evidence before contacting police.<\/p>\n
The alleged perpetrator initially left the scene but later returned to the facility where the woman was able to identify him to responding officers.<\/p>\n

A camera was allegedly placed in a paper bag with a cut-out for the lens<\/p>\n
Tasmania Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to come forward, particularly a man who reportedly assisted the woman until police arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n
The woman has since expressed concerns about the safety of the facilities, especially given the beach area\u2019s popularity with families and young children.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m disgusted that there are people around an area that is frequented by young families,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
