Instead, the Bravo star\u2014drink in hand\u2014started building up to a rant about Adams, 65, and his exit from City Hall. \u201cWatching the final moments of Mayor Adams\u2019s chaotic…\u201d Cohen began at 12.10 a.m., before Cooper cut in fast: \u201cOh no. I\u2019m out.\u201d <\/p>\n
Cohen tried again\u2014\u201cI just want to say\u2026\u201d\u2014and Cooper shut it down a second time with a blunt \u201cDon\u2019t,\u201d edging as if to walk off. The camera widened to keep him in frame as Cohen pushed through with a slightly slurred line: \u201cHe got his pardons.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen\u2019s \u201cpardons\u201d crack looked like a misfire, as Adams did not receive a presidential pardon over his federal corruption case. A judge dismissed the charges with prejudice on April 2, 2025, meaning they could not be brought again. <\/p>\n
Even Cohen briefly gave Adams a sideways compliment, noting he might have \u201cdented the rat population\u201d\u2014after Adams\u2019 office formally established a Mayor\u2019s Office of Rodent Mitigation in December, just before he left office. <\/p>\n
Social media lit up as the exchange circulated, with users describing Cooper\u2019s attempts to step out of frame as the night\u2019s funniest moment. Posters said Cohen sounded drunk and delighted in Cooper\u2019s deadpan \u201cI\u2019m out\u201d refrain, sharing reaction gifs and strings of crying-laughing emojis. <\/p>\n
