AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) \u2014 Two teenagers were arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a 15-year-old girl.<\/p>\n
Jeremiah Luke Matthews, 17, is charged with manslaughter, and Korde Matthews, 17, is charged with tampering with evidence. Both were booked into the Potter County Jail on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Around 1:10 am, police responded to a shooting in the 6000 block of Westwind Ave.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they learned the victim, a 15-year-old girl, had been shot in a vehicle and then taken to an area hospital where she later died.<\/p>\n
The APD Homicide Unit was called to the scene.<\/p>\n
Among the evidence collected was an unspent round ABC 7 News found at the scene. CSI techs came out and collected the bullet.<\/p>\n
