On the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=11FThEuRLgA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Door Bumper Clear podcast<\/a>, Jones, Freddie Kraft and Tommy Baldwin weighed in on Chastain contacting Logano and Logano saying that Chastain told him that he intentionally tried to wreck him.<\/p>\n<p>Kraft explained what caused Chastain to seemingly go after Logano, which began with <strong>Austin Cindric <\/strong>having issues with his car. \u201cRoss just kind of snapped a little bit there,\u201d Kraft said.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin then shared his thoughts. \u201cIf you look, all eight of those guys were snapping,\u201d he said. They were all snapping. It was a hornet\u2019s nest right there. \u2026It was hard, good racing. It happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes at that situation, it takes one nudge, and you\u2019re like, I\u2019m over it,\u201d Erik Jones said. \u201cI\u2019m done with you.\u201d Jones then added, \u201cSometimes it\u2019s situational. They\u2019re going to start chopping you, and maybe you can lift, but you\u2019re like I\u2019m not going to lift. There\u2019s five laps to go. You\u2019re just going to get wrecked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Erik Jones shares more thoughts on the Joey Logano-Ross Chastain feud<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin reiterated that he thought it was hard racing. Jones then said, \u201cYou\u2019re just going as hard as you can. You\u2019re trying to get every position you can at that point. You\u2019re not going to win, right? So you\u2019re like, \u2018Alright, I\u2019m going to get the best finish I can. \u2026Right now, that\u2019s just road course racing.<\/p>\n<p>Ross Chastain contacted Joey Logano after a Lap 64 restart. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/pro\/news\/joey-logano-confronts-ross-chastain-after-being-spun-during-chicago-street-race\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Logano sounded off on Chastain <\/a>while speaking to his team on the radio and expressed more frustration after the race. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe admitted he wrecked me on purpose,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bobpockrass\/status\/1941971914404278601\" rel=\"nofollow\">Logano told reporters post-race<\/a>. \u201cHe admitted it, which means he should get fined if he admittedly wrecked someone on purpose. That\u2019s not OK. \u2026 It\u2019s just typical Ross. He just sees red and does dumb stuff. That\u2019s all. And that\u2019s twice this year on road courses at the end of these things I\u2019ve been cost by Ross. Just over it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chastain finished 10th and Logano finished 11th.
