{"id":486599,"date":"2026-01-02T07:33:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T07:33:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/486599\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T07:33:22","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T07:33:22","slug":"3-kitchener-residents-charged-in-drug-trafficking-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/486599\/","title":{"rendered":"3 Kitchener residents charged in drug trafficking investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three suspects have been arrested as part of a drug trafficking investigation dating back to July 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In July, police determined two men and one woman were involved in a drug trafficking ring operating inside and outside the region.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 30, 2025, investigators executed search warrants at two residences connected to the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, officers seized seven kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, opiates, psilocybin, marihuana, drug indica, a firearm and currency.<\/p>\n<p>The three individuals were taken into police custody.<\/p>\n<p>A 36-year-old male and female from Kitchener have been charged with the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a Schedule I Substance;<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule IV Substance;<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule III Substance;<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of sale and distribution \u2013 Federal Cannabis Act;<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a firearm knowing its possession if unauthorized; and<\/li>\n<li>Careless storage of a firearm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A 48-year-old male from Kitchener has been charged with the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule I Substance;<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule IV Substace;<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule III Substance; and<\/li>\n<li>Possession for the purpose of sale and distribution \u2013 Federal Cannabis Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All parties were held for a bail hearing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three suspects have been arrested as part of a drug trafficking investigation dating back to July 2025.
