{"id":487429,"date":"2026-01-02T16:08:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T16:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/487429\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T16:08:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T16:08:09","slug":"one-of-three-victims-identified-in-north-central-expressway-crashes-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/487429\/","title":{"rendered":"One of three victims identified in North Central Expressway crashes this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">A 37-year-old man has been identified as one of the three victims in crashes on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/transportation\/2025\/12\/31\/all-northbound-lanes-of-us-75-shut-down-after-fatal-crash-near-i-635\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/transportation\/2025\/12\/31\/all-northbound-lanes-of-us-75-shut-down-after-fatal-crash-near-i-635\/\">North Central Expressway<\/a> on New Year\u2019s Eve in Dallas. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">There were two separate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/traffic-accidents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/traffic-accidents\/\">crashes<\/a>, one in the northbound lanes and the other in the southbound lanes, that occurred just minutes apart. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The first incident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 near the Interstate 635 interchange. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dallas-police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dallas-police\/\">Dallas police<\/a> responded to the incident. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person lying in the roadway. There, they found a single vehicle that caught <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fire\/\">fire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and extinguished the flames. Police said two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
