We understand that Guehi is the defending Premier League champions\u2019 top centre-back target.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/news\/marc-guehi-exclusive-man-city-liverpool-bayern-munich-barcelona-most-wanted-free-agent-of-all-time\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool are not the only club that are keen on Guehi<\/a>, with our transfer correspondent, Graeme Bailey, reporting on December 16 that as many as 13 clubs have shown interest in securing the services of the England international defender.<\/p>\n<p>One of those clubs is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/tag\/real-madrid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Real Madrid<\/a>, who have already pulled out of the race to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate and have Guehi on their shortlist.<\/p>\n<p>A source close to the situation has told us that \u201cthere is absolutely no agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> or any club\u201d, adding that Guehi\u2019s \u201csituation is that following the summer [and the collapse of his Liverpool move], it was a clean slate for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/as.com\/futbol\/primera\/hay-contactos-por-guehi-f202512-n\/\" target=\"_blank\">AS<\/a>, one of the most prominent Spanish publications that is Real Madrid-leaning, although Liverpool remain interested in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/marc-guehi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guehi<\/a>, the 25-year-old is exploring other options and would love to join Los Blancos should the Spanish and European giants firm up their interest.<\/p>\n<p>The report has noted: \u2018The centre-back is now a free agent and wants to keep all options open until the next transfer window opens\u00a0to choose the best fit for him, given the number of top-level clubs interested, including Real Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Furthermore,\u00a0Guehi would give Real Madrid absolute priority\u00a0should they decide to pursue him.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018For him, as for so many footballers, it would be a dream come true.
