6abc Studios (WPVI) — While 2025 was a good year for Philadelphia with a big reduction in homicides (down 15%-18%), the City has also seen a spike in domestic violence with in increase of 20% in reported cases. On Inside Story Joanna Otero-Cruz<\/strong>, the Executive Director of Women Against Abuse, and Adam Geer<\/strong>, Philadelphia’s Chief Public Safety Officer, joined Tamala Edwards<\/strong> as Newsmakers to discuss the crisis and the efforts actively underway to reduce the violence.<\/p>\n
