However, people using private drinking water supply wells within half a mile of the spill site should boil any water for personal use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The city says people with private wells should get their water tested.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to city officials, crews with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Houston Public Works are working to address the structural failure.<\/p>\n<p><br class=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KTRK-TV.
