Andy Cohen shut down speculation that he got plastic surgery ahead of hosting CNN\u2019s \u201cNew Year\u2019s Eve Live.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cDid the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds ! And had a lot of makeup on,\u201d Cohen wrote via Threads<\/a> on Thursday. <\/p>\n

The comment came in response to fan Thread reading, \u201cI just saw the new clips of Andy Cohen on NYE and WTF did he do to his face?!? Is he trying to find a new husband at Mar-a-Lago?\u201d <\/p>\n

The \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d host appeared alongside Anderson Cooper for the fan-favorite New Year\u2019s Eve broadcast from Times Square\u00a0on Wednesday evening. <\/p>\n

Many fans sounded off on the Bravo mogul\u2019s appearance with supportive comments. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe looked like he always has \u2026 rested and refreshed no doubt. Handsome man. As well as Anderson too \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffc\u201d one person wrote, while another added, \u201cDon\u2019t pick on Andy ! He\u2019s perfect \ud83d\ude0d\u201d <\/p>\n

A third noted that Cohen is \u201cobviously entirely entitled to do whatever makes him continue to feel fabulous!\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cDarling, you looked marvelous,\u201d a fourth gushed. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just got it for the first time in my life,\u201d he told Dr. Contessa Metcalfe\u00a0during the \u201cMarried to Medicine\u201d Season 11 reunion\u00a0in March. <\/p>\n

When asked \u201chow long ago,\u201d Cohen replied, \u201cAbout a month ago. They gave me a little.\u201d<\/p>\n

In January, the TV personality \u2014 who frequently questions \u201cReal Housewives\u201d cast members on what plastic surgeries they\u2019ve undergone \u2014 responded to fan backlash over the tactic<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Prior to the social media exchange, \u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d cast member Erika Jayne slammed Cohen for the line of questioning <\/a>during a 2019 reunion episode. <\/p>\n

\u201cI hate it when people say \u2018What work have you had done?\u2019 What work have you had done? I think she should answer it, but at the same time it\u2019s kind of rude,\u201d Jayne interrupted Cohen as he relayed a fan question to Dorit Kemsley. <\/p>\n

At the time, Cohen gently explained that there was \u201cno judgment\u201d in the question. <\/p>\n
