Another Michigan Wolverines\u2019 starter has entered his name into the transfer portal, this time being starting right tackle Andrew Sprague.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City, Missouri native played every game for the Wolverines during the regular season at right tackle, where he was very effective, earning a 69.4 PFF grade<\/a> on 740 total snaps. He was named an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection by coaches and media and shared the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award following Michigan\u2019s win over Nebraska.<\/p>\n

Sprague came onto the scene in 2024 in the ReliaQuest Bowl, making his first career start after four appearances late in games, and his stellar play against a ferocious Alabama defensive line led to a Wolverines\u2019 win and fellow true freshman running back Jordan Marshall surpassing 100 rushing yards in his first start. With multiple incoming transfers last offseason and the development of a crowded offensive line room, Sprague beat them all out to be the bona fide anchor on the right side of the offensive line for true freshman QB Bryce Underwood.<\/p>\n
