Chelsea ace Mykhailo Mudryk has urged his supporters not to give up on him in a new message. The Ukrainian international awaits the verdict from his doping case, having not featured in action for more than a year already.<\/p>\n
Mudryk has not played for the Blues since a Europa Conference League match on November 28 2024. The 24-year-old was provisionally suspended the following month after a positive test for a banned substance<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 24-year-old was officially charged in June 2025 and has denied any wrongdoing. Mudryk could face up to a four-year ban should the doping charge be proven<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mudryk acknowledged in December 2024 that he had tested positive for a banned substance<\/a>. “This has come as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules, and am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened,” he said at the time.<\/p>\n The lightning-fast winger has kept a low profile since then<\/a> and posted a rare message pleading for fans to continue to believe in him. Can’t wait to see you soon.”<\/p>\n World Anti-Doping Agency president Witold Banka suggested they were waiting on the Football Association, back in November.<\/p>\n “First of all, we are waiting for a disciplinary decision in his case (from the Football<\/a> Association of England). As of today, we do not know when it will come,” Banka said.<\/p>\n “Then, according to the anti-doping code, we will request the player’s documentation and will decide whether we agree with this disciplinary decision. We can appeal in two cases: if we consider the decision too harsh or too lenient.”<\/p>\n Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023<\/a> in a deal worth up to \u00a389million.
