{"id":489366,"date":"2026-01-03T11:59:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-03T11:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/489366\/"},"modified":"2026-01-03T11:59:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-03T11:59:14","slug":"bts-announces-march-comeback-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/489366\/","title":{"rendered":"BTS announces March comeback date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK (AP) \u2014 They\u2019re going to light up 2026 like dynamite: <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/bts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">K-pop group BTS\u2019<\/a> comeback has an official date.<\/p>\n<p>According to a note shared to social media by the entertainment company BigHit Music, the mega popular group will return on March 20. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s after a nearly four-year hiatus, as all seven members of BTS \u2014 RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope \u2014 <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/bts-suga-south-korea-military-service-boy-band-a0fd2487c9859805f50a891b7f2b93a0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">completed<\/a> South Korea\u2019s mandatory military service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarch 20th comeback confirmed,\u201d BigHit Music wrote on X, formerly Twitter. <\/p>\n<p>Rapper Suga was the last group member to be <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/south-korea-bts-suga-military-service-8a0318e3008747139bb8d8903dee348d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released<\/a> \u2014 from his duties as <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/south-korea-bts-suga-military-service-8a0318e3008747139bb8d8903dee348d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a social service agent<\/a>, an alternative to serving in the military that he reportedly chose due to a shoulder injury. That was in June 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The six others, <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/rm-bts-right-place-wrong-person-kpop-review-9462637972f297d5e3c3543672f01645\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RM,<\/a> V, Jimin, Jung Kook, Jin and j-hope, served in the army.<\/p>\n<p>BTS tiered their enlistments, giving ample time for its members to focus on solo projects while the group was on a break.<\/p>\n<p>Last summer, the group teased a world tour and announced that <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/bts-new-album-tour-18fb477594e545307808165bcf7d1d6d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a new album<\/a> would be released in the spring of 2026.
