Within about two minutes, someone called to report that a person had been struck.<\/p>\n<p>The person died at the scene. Meza said the person was an adult, but did not know if the person was male or female.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the vehicle that struck the person stopped and cooperated with officers, Meza said. The driver was not arrested.<\/p>\n<p>All eastbound lanes were closed for almost two hours for the investigation, and drivers were diverted off the freeway at Spring Street.
