{"id":489753,"date":"2026-01-03T16:00:48","date_gmt":"2026-01-03T16:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/489753\/"},"modified":"2026-01-03T16:00:48","modified_gmt":"2026-01-03T16:00:48","slug":"temple-kitchen-project-selected-for-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/489753\/","title":{"rendered":"Temple Kitchen Project Selected For Funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">A project at the Temple in Downtown Salina has been selected to receive funding.\n<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the temple,\u00a0its \u201cInnovation Kitchen \u2013 More Than a Kitchen\u201d project has been selected for funding through the Kansas Department of Agriculture\u2019s Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Equipment-Only Grant and the Greater Salina Community Foundation Capacity Building Grant.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of The\u00a0Temple\u2019s most significant assets is its\u00a01,500-square-foot commercial kitchen, which holds tremendous potential for the region. With the growing demand for culinary innovation and local food production, The\u00a0Temple\u00a0is transforming this space into The Innovation Kitchen \u2013\u00a0more than a kitchen for hire\u00a0\u2014 a community-focused resource designed to serve local farmers, food entrepreneurs, culinary professionals, and educational events.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Funding from these grants will allow The\u00a0Temple\u00a0to purchase\u00a0all new commercial kitchen appliances, install a\u00a0new epoxy floor, and complete\u00a0interior painting.
