Tottenham Hotspur are increasingly confident they may have a realistic chance of signing Manchester City forward Savinho this month, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The struggling north London side are prepared to back Thomas Frank with new signings during the January transfer window and have identified Savinho as a priority target.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian was eyed by Spurs<\/a> before the season, but Man City were reluctant to sell and instead tied the 21-year-old to a new six-year contract in October.<\/p>\n

However, Savinho\u2019s limited involvement under Pep Guardiola this season could see Tottenham try to sign the forward again in January, potentially on an initial loan.<\/p>\n

Tottenham Remain Keen on Savinho<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to CaughtOffside<\/a>, Man City are expected to sell at least one attacker this month amid the impending arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

Savinho, as well as Norway international Oscar Bobb, are reportedly seen as the two main candidates to leave, as their places in Guardiola\u2019s pecking order could drop even further after Semenyo\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n

Savinho, who was forced to miss the start of the season through injury, has made just four Premier League starts for Man City in 2025\/26, registering two assists.<\/p>\n

The \u00a3100,000-a-week<\/a> forward has scored only one league goal for Man City since his arrival from Girona in the summer of 2024, netting in their 2-0 win over Leicester in December 2024.<\/p>\n

He was forced off in the second half of the 0-0 draw with Sunderland on Thursday and is set to miss Chelsea\u2019s visit to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Savinho Could Replace Brennan Johnson<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tottenham are an attacker short following Brennan Johnson\u2019s move to Crystal Palace. The Wales international left Spurs for \u00a335m<\/a> earlier this week in a club-record deal for Oliver Glasner\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Johnson has made only six league starts for Spurs this season, scoring two goals in the first two games of the campaign, including a 2-0 win over Man City.<\/p>\n

The wide forward is expected to be available for Palace\u2019s visit to Newcastle United on Sunday, where Glasner\u2019s side will be looking to bounce back after failing to win their last four games.<\/p>\n
