(WICS) \u2014  The Jacksonville Police Department reported no arrests for impaired driving, including alcohol and cannabis-related offenses, during the recent Fourth of July safety campaigns. <\/p>\n<p>The initiatives, titled &#8220;Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,&#8221; &#8220;Drive High Get a DUI,&#8221; and &#8220;Click It or Ticket,&#8221; ran from June 20 through July 7.<\/p>\n<p>During this period, officers issued seven seat belt citations. Additional citations included three for no insurance, one for an equipment violation, one for failure to yield, and one for disobeying a stop sign.<\/p>\n<p>The Jacksonville Police Department participated in this statewide effort alongside more than 200 other state and local law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign aimed to remove drunk, high, and drugged drivers from roads and promote seat belt use. <\/p>\n<p>These efforts were funded by federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"JACKSONVILLE, Ill.
