(Supplied: Peter Ryan)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">All roads surrounding the town are currently closed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;We may not open roads for a couple of days \u2026 but it&#8217;s an evolving beast, every day it&#8217;s something different. (Supplied: Sam Gould)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Ms Gould said many people were in the same situation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"EmphasisedText_quote__TE6kn\"><p>&#8220;We were sanded into our motels, waist high with sandbags at the entrance and exit \u2026 it&#8217;s a bit confronting, especially if this is your first flood,&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;This is the first time I can stand out the back of my motel room and watch the floodwaters going by.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McKinlay Shire worst hit with stock losses, mayor says<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">There is no official total for livestock losses yet, but McKinlay Shire Mayor Janene Fegan said some graziers in the region expected to have lost half of their cattle.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"EmphasisedText_quote__TE6kn\"><p>&#8220;Losses will be up there, 50 per cent and up.
