Allison DeFoor, president and CEO of North Florida Land Trust, has been named one of Florida\u2019s most influential business leaders by Florida Trend.<\/p>\n
As it does each year, Florida Trend selects 500 people for its \u201cFlorida 500\u201d list. For the second year, DeFoor was listed among the top executives in the philanthropy\/nonprofit category. The Florida 500 list features more than 60 business categories, including law, education, agriculture and real estate, among others.<\/p>\n
DeFoor has been at the helm of NFLT since 2022, during which time NFLT has conserved roughly 13,000 acres. Once the State closes on a conservation easement this year, another 76,000 acres will be coming to the Ocala to Osceola (O2O) wildlife corridor as well.<\/p>\n
