Rock band U2 is coming back for more, with a new album in the works. <\/p>\n

According to Esquire,<\/a> the legendary band is getting started on new music and even gearing up for a whole new tour, following an interview with lead singer Bono. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone in the band seems desperate for it,\u201d the 65-year-old musician told Esquire <\/a>\u201cIt\u2019s like their lives depend on it. … And, as I tell them, they do.\u201d<\/p>\n

U2 is a 22-time Grammy-winning band from Ireland known for hit songs like \u201cSunday Bloody Sunday,\u201d \u201cBeautiful Day,\u201d \u201cOne\u201d and \u201cI Still Haven\u2019t Found What I\u2019m Looking For.\u201d <\/p>\n

The iconic band\u2019s last album, Songs of Experience, was released in 2017 and was the world\u2019s sixth-best-selling album of the year. It was followed by the Experience + Innocence Tour in 2018, as well as reimagined versions of iconic tracks.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the band began a residency from at Las Vegas\u2019s Sphere, where their production and artistry earned rave reviews. <\/p>\n

This new album remains untitled and with no release date, but the \u201cWith or Without You\u201d vocalist shared that one song is tentatively titled \u201cFreedom Is a Feeling,\u201d and will focus on the freedom that is a part of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll. He also confirmed that famed producer Brian Eno, who previously worked on classic albums like \u201cThe Joshua Tree,\u201d \u201cAchtung Baby\u201d and \u201cZooropa,\u201d will be returning to work with the band. <\/p>\n

Bono, whose real name is Paul David Hewson, also mentioned how excited he is to play the highly anticipated songs live, hinting at a future tour: \u201cI just like to play live,\u201d he told the magazine. \u201cYou want to have some very good reasons to leave home.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Rock band U2 is coming back for more, with a new album in the works.
