First, here\u2019s what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dairiki.org\/tides\/monthly.php\/sea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the tide tables<\/a> predict for our area:<\/p>\n<p>Saturday: 12.8 feet, 5:51 am<br \/>Sunday: 12.9 feet, 6:30 am<br \/>Monday: 13.0 feet, 7:08 am<br \/>Tuesday: 12.9 feet, 7:43 am<br \/>Wednesday: 12.8 feet, 8:17 am<\/p>\n<p>WSB reader <strong>Lura<\/strong> points out that atmospheric conditions can push the water levels higher than predicted \u2013 see the red line <a href=\"https:\/\/tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov\/waterlevels.html?id=9447130\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on this chart<\/a>, for example \u2013 and she notes that if forecast conditions bear out, that could mean 14-foot high tides ahead. The <a href=\"https:\/\/weather.gov\/sew\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>National Weather Service<\/strong><\/a> has a <a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/showsigwx.php?warnzone=WAZ315&amp;warncounty=WAC033&amp;firewxzone=WAZ654&amp;local_place1=West%20Seattle%20WA&amp;product1=Coastal+Flood+Advisory&amp;lat=47.5721&amp;lon=-122.3955\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Coastal Flood Advisory<\/strong> alert<\/a> for 4 am-8 am Saturday; along the Duwamish River, the city says \u201c\u2026 river overtopping is not forecasted.
