Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) are looking for a suspect after an assault and robbery<\/a><\/strong> in Kitchener<\/a><\/strong> on Friday.<\/p>\n Officers responded to the area of Victoria Street South and Westmount Road West around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of the robbery.<\/p>\n They found a man who had allegedly been assaulted with a baseball bat at a residence on Mooregate Crescent and had personal property stolen.<\/p>\n He was take to a local hospital and treated for minor physical injuries.<\/p>\n Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and is currently under investigation.<\/p>\n Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Posted Jan 4, 2026 06:29:32 AM.
