{"id":492499,"date":"2026-01-04T20:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T20:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/492499\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T20:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T20:14:14","slug":"fire-broke-out-at-an-oncor-substation-after-midnight-in-dallas-officials-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/492499\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire broke out at an Oncor substation after midnight in Dallas, officials say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">A fire broke out after midnight at an Oncor substation in Dallas on Sunday, officials say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">According to a news release from Dallas-Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched to an early morning call shortly after 12:45 a.m., after receiving reports of a fire at an Oncor substation located at 2405 Sargent Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">\u201cFirst arriving companies reported out with lots of fire, and a large plume of black smoke coming from the facility, when they arrived,\u201d the release said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Authorities said they worked with Oncor representatives to shut down the power at the substation to facilitate the start of suppression operations.
