{"id":493007,"date":"2026-01-05T01:27:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T01:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/493007\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T01:27:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T01:27:11","slug":"maricopa-county-home-and-garden-show-at-state-fairgrounds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/493007\/","title":{"rendered":"Maricopa County Home and Garden Show at state fairgrounds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 The first Maricopa County Home and Garden Show of 2026 will take place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds this week.<\/p>\n<p>The 34th annual home show will be at the fairgrounds, which is located off <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/aMaV7WMjBV8AFT3x5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">19th Avenue and McDowell Road<\/a>, from Friday to Sunday. It will run each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoin us at the fairgrounds for our premier home show \u2014 it\u2019s over 300,000 square feet of home improvement and activities. This low-cost event offers high value in experiences and deals \u2014 for only $10,\u201d Maricopa County Home and Garden Show Manager Kristie Jones said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you walk into this show, you\u2019ll feel a sense of community; there is truly something for everyone here. We\u2019ve incorporated new elements like fish, reptiles and exotics in the plant pavilion and brought back fan favorites like \u2014 tiny homes, taste of the desert, kids\u2019 corner, handmade headquarters and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The show will offer free consultations on home remodeling, tree care, interior design and landscaping for those in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>What will attendees be able to do at home and garden show?<\/p>\n<p>The show will have Plant Pavilion filled with an assortment of house plants, cacti, trees as well as exotic and rare plants. In addition to the greenery, there will also be reptiles and aquariums, which are new to the event.<\/p>\n<p>In the pavilion, there will be a number of hands-on gardening workshops where people will not only be able to learn easy tips and tricks but also take some plants home with them.<\/p>\n<p>On top of the gardening workshops, there will be master gardeners that are experts in everything from container gardens to vegetables to succulents.<\/p>\n<p>For those looking to downsize, a neighborhood of Tiny Homes will be setup on the fairgrounds to walk through and get inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>At the handmade headquarters, there will be free make-and-take crafts such as wooden engraved signs, personalized candle holders, UV resin flower pendants and sand wax candle making.<\/p>\n<p>Families in attendance can stop by the kids\u2019 corner, where children can pick a DIY craft cutout from a craft treasure box, learn magic from a real magician and create copper cacti. It is important to note that the craft workshops in the kids\u2019 corner are for children aged 4 to 12.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be an 18,000-square-foot culinary experience for attendees called Taste of the Desert. It will have dozens of local vendors, live music and complimentary food and drink samples.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the weekend, the Home and Garden show\u2019s main stage will have free seminars where home improvement experts in different fields will give advice and provide demonstrations.
