PHILADELPHIA \u2014<\/b> The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>, after losing to the Washington Commanders on Sunday, will be back at Lincoln Financial Field next weekend for the NFL playoffs. <\/p>\n

And the defending Super Bowl champs will do so as favorites to advance to the next round.<\/p>\n

As of Sunday night, the Eagles are 3.5-point betting favorites to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card round, according to FanDuel Sportsbook<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The over\/under point total is set at 46.5 points. <\/p>\n

The Eagles (11-6) will host the 49ers (12-5) at the Linc after losing, 24-17, to the Commanders on Sunday \u2014 and losing the NFC\u2019s No. 2 seed in the process.<\/p>\n

The Eagles rested most of their starters against Washington, knowing they needed to beat the Commanders with a Chicago Bears loss to the Detroit Lions in order to secure the No. 2 seed.<\/p>\n

Nick Sirianni\u2019s team got what it needed from Soldier Field. The Lions upset the Bears, 19-16, with a field goal as time expired. But the Eagles couldn\u2019t hold up their end of the bargain.<\/p>\n

If the Eagles won, they would have faced the Green Bay Packers (9-7-1) as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Instead, the Eagles are the No. 3 seed and face the No. 6 seed 49ers. <\/p>\n

Sirianni has a 1-2 record against the Kyle Shanahan-led 49ers. But the one win was memorable: a 31-7 beatdown at the Linc in the 2023 NFC championship game. <\/p>\n
