HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 While on patrol in the Walnut Bend neighborhood, just north of Westheimer Road in West Houston, deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 5<\/a> came across a 14-year-old running a lemonade stand with a purpose.<\/p>\n

That teen<\/a> was Brylee Livesay, and when deputies learned why she was out there in the Texas heat, they called her \u201cinspirational.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer compassion and drive set a powerful example for us all. Way to go, Brylee,\u201d deputies said. <\/p>\n

Livesay set up the lemonade stand to raise money for victims in the Texas Hill Country floods.<\/p>\n

Livesay raised over $600, and she said every dollar is going straight to support flood relief efforts.<\/p>\n

Her story, shared on social media by deputies, quickly gained attention across the community. <\/p>\n

Comments poured in, with people calling her \u201cawesome\u201d and \u201cso sweet,\u201d and the post was shared multiple times, a clear sign that Livesay\u2019s kindness struck a chord.<\/p>\n

Flooding at Camp Mystic, a Christian camp for girls, caused widespread damage and upended summer plans for many families. <\/p>\n
